Policies and Conditions
Check-in time: any time after 2:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday;
3:00 p.m. on Sunday. (Please be mindful of housekeeping, and do not show up in the morning for a reservation made for the afternoon!)
Late check-ins are available. Please read your confirmation email for details or give us a call.
Reservations are confirmed with a 50% deposit paid. Two-night minimum stay requirement – 3 or more nights on holiday weekends or special event weekends.
Prices are subject to change without notice.
Rates DO NOT include state or local taxes.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Deposit is refundable, less a 10% handling charge if cancellation is made prior to two weeks before the arrival date. NO REFUND is available during 2 week period before the arrival date. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED FOR EARLY DEPARTURES. (If more than 4 units are reserved in a group, we have a one-month cancellation policy.) CANCELLATION MAY ONLY BE MADE BY PHONE – NO cancellations are allowed by email!
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Each additional person is $10.00 per night
- Children 5 and under stay FREE (not to exceed the limit of the unit)
We do allow well-behaved pets here at Kentucky Lake Cottages. We charge a nightly fee of $10 per pet, per night. Your pet must be on a leash at all times when outside of your unit. If the pet is left alone in the unit, it must be contained in a pet carrier or crate. Your pet must not be aggressive or loud and must be clean, with NO fleas or ticks. Pet must use designated areas to relieve itself and the owner must clean pet waste immediately and dispose of in a plastic bag placed in an outside receptacle. Pet owners will be held financially responsible for any damage caused by their pet/s and any expenses incurred by our facility for pet disturbances and/or flea or tick removal. These are common to most establishments that allow pets. We have been “Pet Friendly” since 1999 and we have found that this policy works well for our pet owners as well as for other guests not traveling with pets.
SMOKING POLICY
We no longer allow smoking inside our units or in the fenced-in pool area. We offer outdoor ashtrays for those who would like to smoke outside by your unit. (Please be mindful of others, and discard your cigarette butts in the garbage and NOT ON THE GROUND.)
